A sensorial journey among the scents and colors of the countryside that has made this piece of territory among the best known.

The Itria valley extends between the provinces of Bari, Brindisi and Taranto, the main municipalities are Martina Franca, Locorotondo and Cisternino and part of the territory also includes Alberobello, Ostuni and Ceglie Messapica.

1st day
Arrival and overnight stay in Martina Franca/Locorotondo

2nd day
Martina Franca -Mesagne 60 km - 300 m difference in altitude

Breakfast and departure towards Alto Salento

Martina Franca is unique in its kind with its historic center where the Baroque is also present, such as the Basilica of San Martino, in addition to the white houses typical of the area. The typical product of the city is the capocollo of Martina Franca, it is a cured meat prepared by Martina Franca butchers according to tradition. There will be a short stop to recharge your batteries in San Michele Salentino with a tasting of almond figs. After the short stop the route will continue towards Mesagne. The city with the heart-shaped historic center, full of historical monuments enclosed by a city wall and located on a hill. Another building is the Norman Swabian Castle where it is possible to visit the Granafei archaeological museum. Enter the alleys of the historic center with paved streets and admire the wonderful Orsini and IV Novembre squares overlooked by Baroque style buildings and churches. Don't miss the mother church with its very characteristic façade because it presents three architectural styles.
Overnight stay in Mesagne.

3rd Day:
Mesagne -Lecce 45 km – 77 m difference in altitude

Breakfast and departure for the baroque city, Lecce. The route is mainly on country roads, a landscape of olive groves and vineyards, there will be a stop in Cellino San Marco with wine tasting and typical Salento aperitif.
Departure towards Lecce, go to the historic center of the city to admire its beauty. Places not to be missed: Basilica of Santa Croce, Church of Sant' Irene, Duomo and Piazza S. Oronzo.
Overnight stay in Lecce.

4th day
Breakfast and departure.
