The frescoes of the Basilica of Santa Caterina and Wine Tasting

Discover with us the Basilica of Santa Caterina, one of the most significant testimonies of the southern Middle Ages. Built starting from the 80s of the 14th century, at the behest of Raimondello Orsini del Balzo, Count of Soleto and completed in 1391. Of notable historical and artistic value are the splendid frescoes of the Giotto and Sienese schools, commissioned at the beginning of the 15th century by Maria d'Enghien, Admire the ancient village, the alleys, the courtyard houses and the Baroque style buildings. Don't miss a visit to Palazzo Tondi Vignola and the Chapel of San Paolo where the ancient rite of tarantism took place.
